Safety is Our Top Priority
Campers wear life jackets at all times.
All our drivers are US Coast Guard Licensed Captains, and every crew member is certified in First Aid and CPR.
Each boat is staffed with a Captain and an Instructor/Spotter. Our instructors are trained to teach children how to safely interact with the boat and water sports equipment, allowing the Captain to focus entirely on driving.
Rules of boating
On the first day of camp we teach campers our four rules of safe boating. Each day following we do mini-quizzes to test each campers knowledge. The rules are simple and we strictly enforce them. If a child is not adhering to the rules of the boat they will be sent home and asked not to return.
We require a $250/camper non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. The remaining balance will be charged two weeks before camp. Cancellations made within 14 days or less from your session start date will forfeit 100% of the camp cost.
If you need to cancel or adjust a booking, we will always try to work with you, if we can fill the spot, we will refund the amount minus booking fees.
Weather Policy:
Our crew carefully monitors radar and weather forecasts before and during every session.
If a camp session is going to be interrupted due to storms or dangerous conditions, we go back to the dock and transition to on-land training. If the conditions do not permit us to finish the session, we will contact you to pick up your child.
If an entire day of your camp is canceled due to storms or dangerous conditions, we will try to reschedule for another day. We like to reserve the Friday of the camp week for inclement weather make-up days. If unable to reschedule, we will issue a prorated refund for the camp day missed. If more than one day is missed due to weather, we will refund the prorated amount for the missed time, as we will not be able to make up more than one missed day.
The camp day is divided into two sessions: Morning (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM) and Afternoon (12:30 PM – 3:30 PM). Full-day campers eat their packed lunch and relax on the dock with the instructors between sessions.
Day One begins with a boating safety lesson and rules overview, followed by easier water-sports like tubing and kneeboarding to get campers used to the water and the pull of the boat.
During each session every child will receive instruction for two separate sets (each set is ~5-10 turns) in any combination of wakeboarding, wakesurfing and waterskiing. Some campers choose to do their favorite water sport twice in one day. Thats totally ok! Our goal by the end of the week is to have every child proficient in one water sport and have gotten up / tried all three.
We save plenty of time for swim, snack, and water breaks throughout the day.
No prior experience is necessary! Our staff are trained instructors with years of water sports experience. Even if your child has no experience on the water, we can teach him or her to waterski, wakeboard, or wakesurf!
