Terms and Conditions

  Sorry 🙁 No Shoes, Food or Beverages allowed on boat; (plastic bottles with water are ok). Up to 6 Guests per charter. Bring plenty of towels and warm clothes. Children under 12 years of age are required by US Coast Guard regulations to wear a life preserver at all times while on the boat. (we will supply them). 

       Please note that Gift Certificates are not refundable. Gift Certificate Expiration dates will be the last day of our season, the year following issue date. 

Cancellation and Weather Policy

       Cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled reservation can be rescheduled. Cancellation requests made less than 48 hours before your scheduled reservation, will be charged a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the charter cost.

       A cancellation on the day of the booking, (or a no show), will be charged the full amount of the Charter. When this happens, it means we have no opportunity to resell this time to another customer. Our season is short and we have a limited amount of time each day available to sell to our customers. As such, we must hold all clients responsible for the fees associated with the times they’ve booked, regardless of the reason for cancellation.

       Oyster Bay Water Sports reserves the right to cancel, revise or postpone charters with or without notice due to scheduling, weather, equipment availability, or any other reason. We will make all attempts to reschedule.

       Charters will be held, except where those days conditions are considered unsafe. We will postpone/cancel charters due to rain, lightning or high winds. Please understand that weather cancellations are solely at the discretion of our US Coast Guard licensed Captain. In the event of a weather related cancellation, we will reschedule your reservation on any of our available days.

       Please try to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your reservation. Especially if its your first time chartering with us. We want to leave the dock on time or maybe a few minutes early to start your charter. If we leave late due to a clients late arrival – that time is lost. Late arrivals will be charged the full amount of reserved time; not just the time spent on the water. If you have questions or concerns regarding departure times, please contact us in advance.

Liability Waiver
